Characteristics: | A happy go lucky expression and a curiously poor sense of direction. No walls are safe from this Fur!
Notes: | This head was built using almost nothing but scraps left over from the V1&2. For example, the upper and lower jaw were in fact made using the remnants of failed hand paws. (Just sewed off at the wrist, and pulled tightly over the foam.) Another thing worth noting is that there is -No glue- in the head. This was 100% hand sewn. With the intent of making it as flexible as possible. While successful, the V4 will allmost certainly contain glue given the fact that the stiching tended to do more damage than good. His slightly bulbous eyes are made from bra pads and are surprisingly good at protecting my eyes from impacts.
Suit Journal: |
Unfourtunatly, the scrap happy method used to make this head shows.
It's already falling appart after just one con. The T-shirt I used in place of a balaclava has torn in numerous places and cannot be mended without essentially destroying the head and starting over from scrap, and in numerous places the stitchwork failed or tore through the t-shirt when put under strain. The lesson learned was that while you can, and should, reuse your fur. You should not skimp on your other materials. This head was built from the get go as a learning head though, so it served its purpose, even though it had a rough learning curve involved. It's got several problems in areas like ventilation and visibility, but thanks to these faults, the V4 should be considerably better because of it. |
