Created the head after reading the guide on matricies.net, made of 1" foam and craft fur from joann's.
Arms are short pile craft fur with long pile craft fur for the wrist feathering. Mounted the original arms to a Brown Polarfleece shirt for comfort. Legs are a pair of blue fleece pajama pants i got at walmart and sewed the craft fur legs to. Hooves are green foam covered with black polarfleece. Soles are 12oz leather with a resin horseshoe on the bottom and pair of boot insoles glued into each one. [tunred out to be a design flaw, had huge blisters on my big toes and the base of my little toes after the sat night dance at AC due to no solid support between the points of the horseshoes and my feet XP] All in all a somewhat decent first attempt at a suit. It was good enough to get me through AC2010 ut will hopefully have my fullsuit completed by IFC2010 |
