Characteristics: The Ram are a fantasy species which are optical prtty similar to the Beastman from the fantasy tabletop game Warhammer.
Ram however are by nature neither chaotic nor evil. They are just simple straigtforward beings who use their natural strength and toughness to achieve their goals, which is primarily freedom for their kind, for they have long been enslaved by circle of nasty wizards who tried to make use of them as slave warriors until they tried to rebel against their masters, but failed.
Few of them escaped (including Varric) and most are still hold prisoners.

Suit Journal:
This is already Version 3.1 as I usually say.
Version 1.0 had a soft head primarily constructed from Foam (though hard foam) and latex though it already had a movable Jaw which was attached with Rubberbands
The hoves were also made of Foam and plastic.
2.0 then had a head made of Plastic-mesh and fibreglass. Unfortunately it was pretty heavy and the whole weight rested on my face (because of the long muzzle. The Jaw was also heavier on therfore had to be spring-powered.
Unfortunately the springs where somewaht to strong and it was hard to open the mouth. (especially to open it wide)
Version 3.1 is primarily called 3.1 because I did a similar suit for a friend, which with some minor improvements ist technically the same as Varric 3.1
3.1 has a a Head constructed out a combination of Alumninium-Framework and fibreglass. It's designed like a Helmet to rest on the head itself and put not to much preasure on the face. It's also designed to provide better air-circulation (especially through the muzzle). The Jaw is also spring-powered but I changed the angle of the springs in a way that I had a better leverage if I open it wider (hard to describe, but the result is, that they have enough power to keep the Jaw shut, but you can also open it wide quite easily) The Hoves were made from Fibreglass to using a clay model to create a plaster negative.

For technical details see www.hawke.de in the section 'creatures'
I also plan to migrate this part to www.varric.net, but I'm somewhat lazy ;-)
