Characteristics: | Shale is a playful, somewhat shy, gray and beige wolf. He certainly isn't afraid to give that lonely looking fur a big hug, and always willing to pose and play.
Notes: | Shale is my first suit, but I will hopefully have many more to come. I've learned so much in making him, and I wish to apply all that new knowledge so that I can make him even better. I truly hope to entertain so that I might hear the laughter and see the smiles of my fellow furs.
Suit Journal: |
Friday, 4 May:
Repair/rebuild started. I am attempting to remake Shale's head into a balacalva head (as opposed to the current foam). I will also be adding paw pads (which were previously incomplete due to time constraints), and tightening up parts of the body suit. I also plan on switching from a wire supported tail to a PVC (or at least a stronger material) supported tail. First Appearance: FWA 2007! I had a great first time suiting at the con, and a memorable first day as I got up on stage with 2 at the first con panel. All of the hugs and snuggles were very much appreciated, and I felt at home again. I found out some things about the suit that need some working on (namely wiring inside of the head for the fan, which I found that I desperately need to be working), and somethings to change. I might reposition the fan, for example, because it liked cutting my lip up if the head shifted or I opened my mouth the wrong way. Between now and AC, I plan on finishing the pawpads on the suit and working on tightening up the body. Suit construction finished: Feb. 12, 2007 |
